Car has lost connectivity

Hi all,

As of this morning FordPass won’t refresh the car data, and when in the car clicking Connectivity Features (or whatever it’s called) I get please wait then nothing.

I’ve pulled fuses 11 and 21 for 5+ minutes but no joy.

Any assistance greatly appreciated as typically I want to change my electric tariff to Intelligent Octopus (UK) and they need to be able to talk to the car before they switch me. Worst possible timing. Been working fine since new nearly 2 years.

PS I have FDRS if that helps

What do you mean by "talk to the car"? Are you giving your FordPass credentials to a utility provider for some kind of verification / tracking?

I assume so…yes, and yes…I am also aware of the getting locked out of Ford pass issues. Many people in the UK use it and not getting locked out so I assume it’s safe.

I’m currently pulling the 12v negative lead from the battery for 10 minutes. Seemed the next logical step

wth this happened to me too. are you sure it's a permanent fix not just a one time update? I came here looking for others assuming it was a back end issue.
