I have two fairly deep scratches on the "carbon fiber" dash just to the left of the IPC caused by the auto body shop who repaired my front end. Not sure how they did it, but it is annoying enough to draw my eyes to it when I drive. They're fairly small, maybe an inch and another is an inch and a half to two inches.

Is there any way to touch this up? It is definitely pretty deep to where you can feel the "tear" or whatever in the top material... the body shop said they'll check with their interior repair guy they've used, but I doubt he can do anything or will be familiar with it. The body shop said if they have to get a new dash in there, they will, but that's a nightmare I'd prefer to not deal with since that unleashes the kraken with rattles and creaks!

I have no idea how the carbon fiber finish is touched up in any cars, the pattern seems to make that difficult.
