Cargo Area Cover - Is it something that is included

I picked up my MME on Friday ('22 Select - No Packages) - it did not include a privacy cover for the cargo area - the liftgate has the clips for it.

I asked my dealer if this was missing - they said it was an add-on - I wanted to confirm before questioning them further.

I guess if I want the cover I'll get ASOK's as I think it is better anyways

The Ford cover is a piece of garbage. Conceptually looks nice, but flaps like a kite if you open the windows, either detaches too easy or wont' detach, and no way to store it. Why they didn't simply put a shade-type in is beyond me.

Mine had been pretty decent until yesterday, comes off all the time now On one side. It won’t clip in.

Someone had recommended using a twisty wire that come with bread or a million things and it now holds tight.

it still is a POS cheapo product.

Should be real cheap used on eBay. Many people don’t use them. Mine is in the closet behind my frunk dividers.

There are a lot of forum members who hate the thing. If you really want the factory cover, you can likely get one on the cheap. I use mine, but it’s not necessary since I tinted my rear windows so that you can’t see in.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it is not standard on the Select without either the Comfort package or the Tech package.

I use o-rings to keep it attached to the clips.
Overall, a really poor design.

Didn’t see it explicitly mentioned, but it is not included on the base select.

Mine came with a cover. It's not rigid, just a soft black cover to hide things left in the cargo area from view.
