Does anyone know what the correct cargo specifications are for the Mach E are?
In the Ford Mustang Mach E Training brochure it states:
“There is 29.7 cu. ft. of cargo space* with the rear seats up, and 59.7 cu. ft. of space* with the seats folded.” In the footnote, it says, “*… 26.6 cu. ft. with rear seats up and 54.7 cu. ft. with rear seats folded on Premium and First Edition.”
In the Mach E Tech Specs document, it shows the cargo capacity as:
Standard battery:
Cargo Space (Behind Rear Seat): 29.7 cu. ft.,
Cargo Space (Behind First Row): 59.7 cu. ft.
Extended battery:
Cargo Space (Behind Rear Seat): 26.6 cu. ft.
Cargo Space (Behind First Row): 54.7 cu. ft.
Does anyone know if the cargo space is reduced because of witch trim is selected, or is it the battery pack size that reduces cargo space? I am guessing that it is the size of the battery that reduces the available space. I know that when they announced the car, they stated that the larger battery occupied the unused space under the back seat, but it seems like that didn’t work as expected.
