Apologies if this has been asked before. I didn't see anything when I searched the forums. I honestly do not like the dealership whose name I put on my reservation. It has to do with the last car I bought there. The sales guy just tacked on a service contract and several other items, wouldn't tell me the bottom line price, etc. Als,, when I went top talk to them about the car they said that they would not apply the California Clean Air Rebate to my down-payment and was totally unsure of financing costs, X-plan, etc. This dealer is on the no-ADM list.

Anyhow, when I get to placing my order for my MME GT next week, can I specify a different dealer? I know several dealers in the area have posted on this forum stating that they don't have ADM, apply the CA rebate to the down, and take X-plan pricing. I just don't want to get screwed by this dealership again.

Yes, you should be able to - but IIRC people had to call the Ford 800 number to make the change. Also be aware that dealers can do the conversion to an order. I didn't immediately convert my reservation to an order when it first opened up at the end of June, so my dealer did so on his own in mid July.

Thanks. I just called Ford at 1-800-392-3673 and the helpful person on the other end of the line was able to make the change. :)
