Still learning the software on my MMe since picking it up in November. I have solar panels and try to charge when solar power is available. Having the Ford connected charging station helps because I can vary the charging rates, which are substantial (1.5 to 11.5 KW, depending on the setting). What I have trouble with is controlling when it charges. I have preferred charge times set to 11 AM to 4 PM to correspond with solar production. No departure time is set. Nevertheless, when I plugged in the charger at 8 AM this morning it immediately began charging. In the past it appeared to follow the set times, but not always. I know that with a set departure time it may charge outside the window, but no departure time is set.

I must be missing something but can’t figure it out. The poor human factoring of the app does not help. Managing the charging station is spread across too many different screens.

Any suggestions?
