Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip from CO to NE in June (northeast NE) and am debating if I should take my Mach-E or Fusion Hybrid. I'm definitely not worried about the I-80 stretch of the trip, but am concerned once I head north of I-80 for a couple hours. Essentially, I'm concerned I'm going to need to rely on my travel charger and a 110 trickle charge.

What tips, tricks and do others have charging experiences or stories to share when it comes to rural NE?

Din’t know anything specific about Nebraska but have you looked at the PlugShare app? It’s a good resource for finding all available chargers.

You should use A Better Route Planner to see what your charging issues might be, if any, as well as PlugShare. You can also head to Lincoln, and then up.

Don't assume it's an issue until you try and plan it out.

I head north from Grand Island.

ABRP says it won't be a problem to get to my destination (Neligh) but then what. There are no chargers there and everything is about 30 minutes away for charging options. Will check out PlugShare to get more info on those chargers.

I have thought about trying to charge at campgrounds.
