It seems like two more Chevy Bolts have spontaneously combusted even after receiving the software update to stop it from happening. I do hope Chevy can get a handle on this soon. Besides the loss of property and potentially life, it clouds ALL EVs in the public eye, not just Chevys.

I wonder if we should worry since the ME also uses battery cells from LG Chem. Anyone know if they are the same or similar cells, or has the problems been fixed?

Tesla were not using LG batteries but they had plenty of battery fires. There is a danger with all high capacity chemical formulations from all manufacturers, so I guess the battery management system is more important than the battery preventing fires.

This is a big deal. I hope they can get to the bottom of the root cause. Hope it is not a LG battery issue. That would be real bad. Don't charge overnight and don't park inside after charge is their temp solution. wow..
