Do the 12v cigarette lighters lose power when the car turns off?

After a few minutes they do. Not sure if it is 5, 15, 20 minutes...

I thought so, but I had to make sure. I thought I might have left my radar on after arriving to work today because It activated shortly after turning on the car to go home. I tried a test at home to verify this, but they seemed to stay on after turning off the car, but I didnt stick around for 10 minutes to make sure.

I think it's adjustable with about 5-30 minute range.

I think the USB power points may still be active even when off. Or maybe that’s just the car powering on as I get close.
