Today's London Times had an interesting and amusing article about a first time EV driver in a Nissan Leaf+ recreating a 1000 mile trip from London to Edinburgh and back to London that was originally run in 1900. You can find it at https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/business/confessions-of-an-electric-car-virgin-fq3lsz8tv It is a subscription site but you can sign up for a free trial period to read the article. The article contained a number of real world trip observations and conclusions that certainly apply in the US.
Short Summary: 920 miles total, 18.3 hours driving, 5.29 hours charging (7 charges). Published Leaf+ Range on full charge 239 miles. Full charge range actually observed 186 miles (at 4 lane highway speeds)
