I kept watching to see whether or not he put the lift pads in the right spots, or lifted battery rails.

Same here, good thing MR Wizard even spoke about it. So hats off on that one, I didn't learn much but was nice to see another MME underneath.

He did say "step on the gas" twice when he should had said the accelerator.

But I agree that there is no more engine maintenance. After doing it since 1963 on my Dad's Rambler American wagon, and doing it lightly on my 2014 Ford Fusion, I wish to stop checking gasoline engines. So in our electric future, only tires and some fluids need ir attention.
