Since the fellas want just good news in here Famula. Here's some from the bluest of blue states.

"Both the research released Wednesday and another model by University of Washington researchers forecast that Oregon’s hospital system will be capable of handling the flow of patients with the novel coronavirus, making the state a potential bright spot in the United States -- if residents continue to stay home."

I think you are falling into a trap that certainly gets me a little irked. Simply stating something is a fact with no supporting evidence doesn't make it so. I hear this all the time in various "news" sources. This is typical of propaganda everywhere and for all time. Keep repeating a lie over and over and it becomes a fact. Please provide at least some supporting evidence if you are going to make a major declaration and state it as "fact".

Maybe you are correct, but just because you decided it, doesn't mean I have to decide to agree without some supporting evidence. And I have not seen evidence to support whay you believe "everybody knows".

Thanks!
I try very hard not to throw out speculative remarks that aren't backed up.
It sounds like you don't really read the news very deeply.

Here you go:

https://www.scientificamerican.com/...-blowers-muzzled-by-the-trump-administration/

https://www.theguardian.com/environ...cientists-climate-crisis-trump-administration

https://www.businessinsider.com/tru...rus-official-history-censoring-science-2020-2

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...a-abruptly-muzzles-its-own-climate-scientists

https://www.ecowatch.com/coronavirus-public-health-experts-2645341522.html

https://www.wbur.org/hereandnow/2020/02/03/trump-climate-change-environment-policy

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/27/climate/trumps-environmental-rollbacks-staff-scientists.html

and all this is via corrupt collusion and lobbying between the Trump administration and the fossil-fuel industry (and many other industries) that are not in the best interest of people and the earth:

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/sep/27/fossil-fuel-industry-clout-trump-era

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/sep/27/fossil-fuel-industry-clout-trump-era

So this all comes full circle to this forum: the need for BEVs and the need to get away from fossil fuels as quickly as possible. This is why we are here, discussing the Mach-E and other BEVs.

Ford extends Europe production pause
https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/ford-extends-europe-production-pause

Ford Motor extended the temporary suspension of vehicle and engine production at most of its European factories until at least May 4.

"Ford's production restart plans depend heavily on the pandemic situation in the weeks ahead, national restrictions in operation at the time, supplier constraints and the ability of our dealer network to operate," the company said in a statement on Friday.

Ford paused production at its plants in Europe last month, including sites in Cologne and Saarlouis in Germany, the Craiova facility in Romania and Valencia in Spain, along with engine plants in the UK.

Of course I'm sure I could find articles that would directly refute the one sided nature of your sources, but you don't seem to bother with any of those stories. That's my problem with all of those "black and white" fact declarations. There is a lot of nuance, especially to politics. Call anyone the savior or the devil and you are obviously not looking at the whole story.

Again, let's try to work together and figure out a way to beat this disease and save an economy that may quickly be on life support. Politically trashing anyone or political party flag waving will help none of us.

I think you made a mistake as this Thread is is called Coronavirus impact
I welcome your info but I would have never looked here to find it. Maybe another Thread
will help you spread your news.
I actually would've expected to find reference in this thread to an article that addresses that, despite other impacts of the virus, the coronavirus won't have impact on expected launch of Mach E.

You asked him to provide supporting evidence, he did. You claim his sources are one sided but then you don’t provide any supporting evidence. Talk about hypocrisy 😂

Read the article, and you'll see it's about the coronavirus impact on the Mach-E.

These are all pretty factual and apolitical, for the most part. And these are mostly main-stream news sources, which are the best you'll find. Did you want me to find some news sources that are heavily influenced to (and distorted by) the goals of the fossil-fuel industry? I'd rather find objective reporting like this...

Oh, and here's a little more factual information on the topic of suppressed science in the Trump administration that concerns Covid19:

I see LYTMCQ loves the "overwhelm with information" tactic. In my original response, I didn't ask to be inundated with "news stories" to read and personally fact check. I asked you to show me the supporting evidense for your statement of fact. I don't care about hearsay, anonymous sources, political opponents, "he said, she said", speculation, etc. I'm looking for facts that are clear, unambiguous, and apolitical. (And no, there are no news sources that have no political spin, so that statement isn't even close to accurate. All people and organizations have prejudices and political leanings. If they say they don't, run quickly away because they are lying to you.)

I again ask that we find a common goal way for all of us to get past this disease and get this struggling (at best) economy back on its feet. Whining, moaning, finger pointing, fear mongering, etc. will only make all of ours lives worse now and later.

I appreciate your help in stepping up and looking for a constructive path forward.
