Anyone have any ideas on how to cover these up?

Now that we are into the snowy season I’m concerned with water getting in there from the snow brush or my kids wet boots. I was just going to put electrical tape over it, but I didn’t know if anyone else had a more elegant solution.

I tried something like that last year, but they didn't really make a tight fit. Almost got stuck in the port too. Those ones do look a little better. Have you tried them?
I've tried similar rubber covers in the past with no issues, but haven't tried that specific brand.

are the dimensions similar to the start button? Could a start button cover work?

Funny you should ask, I actually looked at a few of those. They do seem to be the same size, but most of them stick out a lot and don’t really cover it in more than a decorative way.

Nice! I just ordered a set.

I'd prefer them in Grabber Blue if @AOSK is interested in this product.
Let me know what you think of those.

it would be great if @AOSK could make some kind of rubber plug that fits In both ports and has a circular back to cover the shape of the entire USB module. I’m thinking something like an outlet cover for children, but rubber and maybe with USB logo on it

Plugging a couple of USB cables sure will prevent anything going in there.

Yeah but my daughter moving around back there will almost certainly snap those connectors off. I need a flush/flat cover.

This site sells USB port covers dirt cheap. You can make a right shape out of them.

things at this size are probably not worth making a molding for it, since this type of molding is usually purpose for like 10k production units.

I could probably ask my team to design one and use soft rubber-like material to 3d print some for our site and at the same time share the file with the forum for Owners to print them out.

please let me know if this sounds like a solution, I will have my team work on a design.
