The person I talked to said that my plates were “processed” on November 1, whatever that means. She said that my plates are either in the mail or would be mailed and included the disclaimer that she has no control over the Post Office, yadda, yadda. ?‍?Well, the CA DMV web site said 4-6 weeks for delivery when I ordered mine. I know I did not select a DMV office for delivery but I put in a call to them and am waiting for a return call to see if they unilaterally decided to deliver to a DMV office (hopefully not in El Cajon or Eureka). My first call to them over the summer disabused me of the 4-6 weeks since they told me 6-10 months on delivery. I have called them a few times since then to find out what’s going on and have gotten the same answer: “Hasn’t been shipped yet, call back later.” We will see what they say this time. ?‍?
