Just saw this pop up for me on my 23.5 Mach-E with a 7/12/23 build date in Ford Pass. Guess I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.

REASON FOR PROVIDING A NO-COST, ONE-TIME REPAIR On some of the affected vehicles, the Airbag Warning Light will illuminate with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B0050:13 (Driver Seat Belt Sensor: Circuit Open) stored in the restraint control module (RCM) memory as a result of a broken buckle sensor wire. Customers will also receive a seat belt monitor fault message, and the driver seat belt status will indicate a “question mark” in the vehicle’s instrument cluster. Customers will still be able to buckle their seat belt, and the seatbelt pretensioner and airbag function will not be affected.

If you Google the CSP# it looks to impact many models. The Escape, Bronco, and Maverick had it issued about 3 weeks ago.

At least for those models, there is no repair needed unless the airbag light is illuminated and a certain DTC is stored. I imagine the MME is the same criteria.

I just received a snail mail notice about this for my 2203 built MME. Only after that did I notice it was also listed in the app. The app didn't give a notification nor did it really alert me from the main landing page that it had arrived over on the Service page under Customer Satisfaction Programs, though the CSP menu button does show a reddish dot in the upper right corner.

Of course I immediately searched these forums and found countless threads already started about it. This thread seems to me the earliest.

Called my dealer about this to set up an appointment. They said if you aren't getting any dash warnings or errors then you don't need to come in.
I asked about clearing the app so the CSP goes away and they didn't know how to do that.
This is for Drivers side seat buckle replacement.(24N08)

the letter i received in the mail didn’t seem to say that the service was only necessary if there was a warning light. you might want to call another dealer and see if you can set up the service.

The notice will not go away likely since it's a long term program that is only used when the condition is met. You want this listed as long as possible so it's covered when/if you need it.

i’d have to look at it, i am not at home. it was a tad confusing since it outlined what you might see (warning lights) and that despite those warnings the seatbelts, pretensioners and airbags would continue to function normally. so it kind of implied that there was nothing to do even if the dash lit up, and didn’t explicitly say that you need to wait for the fault to occur to have it serviced. certainly it sounds like something that should be fixed even if it hasn’t failed yet given the fact that the problem lies in a safety system.

No dealers will service this csp unless there is some type of indication or alert showing there is a problem with your seat belt buckle.
