Mostly because I didn't want to deal with the possibility of chips, cracks, the uneven gaps in the front edge, etc. I've seen in some of the other threads out there. The roads up here aren't GREAT with the winters we have. I think it looks better from the outside as well. I did have to think long and hard about it, I understand the increased headroom and cabin light.

I had a Tesla Model S with all glass roof - here in Southern California, it is very hot even after I used the best window tint possible. So my GT is also coming with metal roof.

The Ford roof must be better at heat rejection than Tesla then. It was 88 and sunny this weekend in Florida. Even at noon there was no noticeable heat coming from my roof.

People in 115 degrees in Arizona seem to say the same thing.

Already I can tell my DMG pano roof GTPE is cooler sitting in the sun than my white Chevy SS with ceramic tint.

Whatever magic Ford did with the roof works.

Oh that is awesome! So if i dont end up buying or keeping my GT, I will go with a glass roof - actually dont think I will have much choice as it is packaged now with the CoPilot 360.

I had a Tesla Model S prior which I sold but really love driving electric. But I am a bit torn as I really like the Explorer ST as well as it is bigger. So hoping once I see it in person and take it for a spin tomorrow, I will be sold on it!

I am not sure how to tell that. I did track it to KC but lost visibility after. Ford had updated my ETA to be end of November but then few days later changed it to end of this month.

It's a really great color. Still getting used to how much I like it in every different light level, it's just fantastic.

Can someone with a Premium post a picture of their car from the front?

I've been considering rim options given the DMG color. I love the look of black rims and wonder what the Premium rims would look like if painted black. The color of the car is already very dark... so not sure if the original rim color would look better on the Premium, for contrast.
