And Ford did not name it "Mach 1", "Boss", "Bullit" or whatever....
Porsche always was known for bulding sportscars (coupes, convertibles).
So was AMG for Mercedes or the M-Series for BMW.
The Lamborghini Urus just adds to that List.
We could discuss that on and on. To me discussing that is obsolete.
There are enough Mustang Models (Model-Years) somone could consider not being a "Mustang".
Those discussions are nonsense to me.
Ther ain´t no rules saying a mustang has to be this or that type of car.
The essence of a mustang is that is has to be a fun car to drive, with enough bang for your buck.
The MME delivers on that. I own a "classic" Mustang myself and never ever thought the Mach E shouldn´t be called a Mustang. The opposite was the case. This is what makes it special compared to other EV´s.
I have 56 years where “Mustang” meant front engine, rear wheel drive, 2-door. This is the first vehicle that breaks that canon.

This is exactly what Mr. Iacocca intended the Mustang to be. (Maybe add easy to look at too)
