We had this problem. Check with your dealer to see if they have access to the required software fix. Ours is fixed now, 100% confirmed. But it may take some doing for your dealer to get the software fix, in lieu of an over-the-air update.

BTW, the reason I know ours is 100% fixed is because I am able to snoop on what the FordPass app is doing and there is an API that shows the 12 volt battery status. It used to show:

Code:
"battery": {
      "batteryHealth": {
        "value": "STATUS_LOW",
        "timestamp": "02-23-2021 22:39:58"
      },
      "batteryStatusActual": {
        "value": 12,
        "status": "CURRENT",
        "timestamp": "02-24-2021 19:01:19"
      }
}
But now I can see that when the Mach-E is doing a "conditioning" cycle, every six hours, it is actually topping off the battery:

Code:
"battery": {
      "batteryHealth": {
        "value": "STATUS_GOOD",
        "timestamp": "02-25-2021 16:39:58"
      },
      "batteryStatusActual": {
        "value": 15,
        "status": "CURRENT",
        "timestamp": "02-25-2021 13:01:19"
      }
}
15V Is also what the 12V accessory socket shows when the Mach-E is running and the LVB is being topped off constantly by the HVB. This behavior proves to me that the LVB is getting topped every 6 hours.

I am dying to know how to 'snoop' on this data, and if any other runtime data is available from any other port somewhere?

I would dearly love to see the traction pack voltage, and current datastream so it could display actual kW in/out of traction pack somewhere ALL the time, even if it is to an external display or phone app via bluetooth.

It's "documented" in this thread, but got to be very "off topic" so maybe start a new thread with any questions about it?

Does Deep Sleep mode mean your 12v battery is drained? Or the car enter that mode to preserve battery when stored unplugged?
Was this questioned answered? I have the same question.

Also, does Ford Pass App show the charge level of the LVB?

Essentially. The deep sleep comes any time the 12V is getting on the low-side for any reason.

Also, does Ford Pass App show the charge level of the LVB?
No it does not. The Ford Pass app is aware of the information, but it doesn't show it.
The API snoops that I pasted are from the Ford Pass app interacting with the cloud.

Well deep sleep mode happened twice for me, and it was after not using my car for several (3-5) days, and it was not because my Low Voltage Battery was dead. I think that when the car enter deep sleep mode, the car shut some things to preserve battery %. Less load on the LVB so the High Voltage Battery have less maintenance to do to the LVB. That’s why they ask you to manually start the car to leave that mode.

I had not used my car for several days and then the message appeared each morning when I opened the Ford Pass app. Being retired I have no set schedule for driving. I just wonder what will happen when I go 30 to 45 days without driving once we‘re able to go on cruises again??

How do you know your LVB was not low? Due to the bug, if you don't have the fix, the LVB gets low pretty fast.

The issue is a software bug. There is an update that fixes this. I think you'll need to see your dealer to get this installed (It's not an OTA update ... as the system that applies the OTA updates runs on that 12v battery. If that battery is low it may not be safe to try the update.). The dealer will charge the 12v and then install the update.

For cars impacted by this issue, the 12v battery can get low EVEN THOUGH the car is plugged in.

Once my car was updated I never had the issue again. The car has been great!

Does this update have a name or number that the dealer will recognize if I were to call in and say I want the update?

It probably does have a name or number ... but I don't know what it is. If your dealer is not aware of it, have them contact their Ford Zone Rep to request assistance. Ford is aware that some cars have this issue. But it is a simple software update. Once my car was updated I never experienced the issue again.

Because it was when I got my ppf installed, I texted my installer, he checked the LVB and it was 100%

does the Dealer have to install update?
I was hoping this would be a 'push' we wouldn't even have to worry about?

My Dealer pretty much sucks, so will the updates come automatically when my MME has access to internet?
