I guess you could say the Mach-E is also not for public comsumption at this time either... o_O
Hey-O! In all seriousness, this sucks for dealers and customers that had a bunch of Mach-Es in transit.

It is advance notice to dealers. Certain vehicles. SOBDMC and BECM recall.
Contactors may overheat and stick open or weld shut. Former causing a stop safely now, the latter causing a no start. Software and/or hardware solution to be provided Q3 2022
Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS and FSA via VIN list.
VIN list is out already?

Appears so yes. At least one VIN (not mine) shows this recall listed. 22S41
Do not know if it is all cars or just certain cars. Having my VIN checked now....

Mine is on the transporter, arriving tomorrow or Wednesday. Will it be safe to drive?
If it's delivered, I'd drive it. As I said, less than 1% (potentially). And also, most occurrences were when the car was parked and then turned on.

Also, it's not a software problem. There is a new part number made public already for the HVBJB.

And our awesome Ford liaison on that thread has just informed that a recall will happen.

<insert primal scream>

My car is in-transit. I hit the one year mark on 7/5. If my VIN is affected, not sure if that makes me better off because Ford doesn't have my money yet or worse off because the NHTSA (or whoever manages recalls) will require them to address cars-on-the-road first. Rolling my 20 sided die to determine damage... stay tuned

I searched for "OASIS" and "VIN", which took me to this site: https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2016/SHASTA/OASIS

Just looked up my VIN on this site, and it says "0 Unreparied Recalls". Felt pretty good until I scrolled down and saw this:
  • There may be a delay with very recently announced safety recalls for which not all VINs have been identified. VINs are added continuously so please check regularly.
Am I even looking in the right place with the most up to date information?

That took you to the NHTSA for the Shasta Oasis travel trailer.

OASIS is an internal Ford system if I remember correctly.

I am guessing none of the affected VINs are in the NHTSA database at this time.

Probably been asked a million times but not seeing it anywhere. HVBJB associated with 5 second limit?
I didn't see anyone clearly answer this question so I will: no. The two "issues" are entirely unrelated. The HVBJB has been failing in some cars and the 5 second limit is a control imposed by Ford on GT models.

I would assume if they have to replace parts they would halt production to get the new parts. If they keep building I'm hoping that means new cars already have the fix.
