Delivery problem: Extra hole drilled into bumper.

Finally got it. Drives great! Then a friend noticed the license plate frame was crooked. Turns out someone decided to ignore the guide holes and add a third "bonus" hole when installing the plates.

WTH???!!! Obviously, I was pretty upset. But Downtown Ford immediately apologized, took it in to fix, and gave me a loaner. Hoping to get it back "good as new" today or tomorrow.

Sadly you're not the first victim of 'if you can't find the right hole, make your own'. Some people should not be allowed to use power tools.

So they are going to bondo the hole and touchup paint it and pretend it's not there? I'd ask for some merch credit or something if I were you...

What I was able to do is demand they take it to a body shop I know and trust.

Hey, that's where I bought mine from! Be careful with those guys.... Glad you were able to have them take it to a body shop. The repair shouldn't take too long. They need to stop using impact drivers to put the temporary plates on...

Well, if you know Downtown Ford, you may know Endless Auto Body just across the street. They've done really good, very fair work for me before. Highly recommend.
