If you've read my comments in other threads you'll know I'm not a huge fan of the MME interior. So, let's put that aside. But lately, I've noticed that my elbow has all but permanently dented the door trim / window sill area.

I tend to drive with my left hand holding onto the "oh-shit bar" while resting my elbow on the window sill.

Before you go telling me to lay off the Twinkies I'll say it's not that... Don't force me to post my gym selfies as proof.

Anyone else experience this?

That's crazy. I know the trim is soft, but not THAT soft.

Wow, that is crazy. Even if you are able to get the dealer to warranty it for you, I don't know that it would not happen again down the road.

Do you mean experiencing the dent or laying off the Twinkie's?

Seriously though I do not drive with my elbow in that position but I am now going to keep my eye on the center divider where I rest my right elbow.

Wow. At least it's now molded to your elbow for extra comfort ;)

I sometimes drive with my elbow resting there too but haven't noticed this yet.

I realized that part of the door was extra soft when my 10 month old son left a teeth impression on it while he was sitting on my lap waiting for mom.

Out of curiosity, do you notice that when you lift your arm off that resting spot you hear a kind of unsticking noise? I tend to rest my arm there, sometimes with just my elbow, other times flat across it. Regardless, when I lift my hand it always sound like the material is unsticking and isn't properly glued to whatever the pleather is supposed to be attached to. Drives me nuts.

What do Twinkies have to do with resting your elbow on the door panel? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฉ

I know several people who either position their left arm the way you do or rest their elbow on the door panel and their left hand on the steering wheel. I guess if they get MMEs they will experience the same symptom. I know some of them have had similar issues with cars that had softer door panels. One has a C#@vy truck of similar vintage to my Blazer. He wore the paint out on the door. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿฉ

Never noticed that. I did leave on vacation for 2 weeks and didn't drive the car. Came back and the dent is still there so it's definitely not something that pops back out on its own.

Some people who enjoy Twinkies might have a heavier than normal arm...

Basically the same as when you force fed me those doughnuts.

Believe it or not, this is normal on many Ford vehicles.
I have a 2016 F150 Lariat and I have the same indention in the same spot as you.

Either youโ€™ve got some seriously sharp elbows or thatโ€™s a serious interior problem!
