Design aspects you don't like

I'll echo the Ford logo on the windshield, cargo cover, and lack of a pano shade.

But I'm surprised nobody has mentioned these yet:

- turn signal and wiper stalks feel cheap and the turn signal isn't even smooth at the end - feels like a dollar store molded piece of plastic.

- Ford logo on the back cover. It ends up being a distraction reflecting in the rear view mirror.

Interesting. Most have it. Perhaps yours used a different glass supplier? Does it say SoundScreen in the lower passenger corner?

My Ford logo on the top of the windshield looks a little bit different if I remembered correctly.Will take pics tomorrow.

Most do not like the large knob at the bottom of the screen and have suggested it perform multiple tasks. Maybe someone else has noticed, but I discovered it also pushes in. I'm not sure if it is only a single switch or if pressing various areas top/bottom etc. that may navigate upcoming features.

I hate the seats.
I really would like to see cloth or microsuade fabric option, and would LOVE to see 'performance contour' option with shoulder bolsters and more of a 'bucket' feel on seat.

if you press directly over the latching mechanism it seems to work best.... if you miss, it flexes the door quite a bit.... The charge port door and hinge could use some beefing up. Probably need to be either stronger, or flexible enough to handle reasonable 'brush by' from a person walking between cars, or a light box or ball or whatever dropped on it.


That does remind me one one additional big gripe though... that being the super flimsy thumb latch on the mobile charger handle. I had mine break off the first time I dropped the handle off the hook where I hang it when not in use in my garage.

It is a poor choice of material, and thin section moulding on a piece that SHOULD last the life of the car being dropped repeatedly from 4' off a concrete floor as part of normal use.

I complained to Dealership and Ford, and they ordered me a new mobile charger and took the old one for 'study' for free..... I would suggest you do the same, and maybe they will do an official recall or replace on request.

it is a truly stupid design, with wrong materials and stress concentrators in molding, saved $0.02 but cost $500 to replace.

The red text at the upper right... If you'd said Potential Warranty Expiration, I'm sure that would've really grabbed their attention.

Do you mind rechecking this spot? It looks like the logo but it's fuzzy in that photo so hard to know for sure.

The ability to set the charge rate via software like the Teslas and Bolts can. Sometimes I don't need my car to draw the max current on my L2 home charger because I have plenty of time. Yes I know I can schedule charging and do. But to tell the car "only pull 5Kw instead of the max".
