Did my first long trip of 770 miles and noticed two problems now that it is spring (no snow and now rain)

snow is gone for us so fog and center line are now visible. the lane keeping cruise control can seem to find the lane marking when the sun is lower than about 50° and is from behind the car. Strange.
Also, I drive through Oregon rains and none of the switch selections for intermittent wipers don’t do anything. At the top setting the wiper will operate every couple minutes even though we were in a downpour.
anyone else experience theses problems?

You may need to review the wiper settings. Page 100.

Moving the stalk one position up enables rain sensing or intermittent (turn on rain sensing in menu), and the sensitivity controls how much rain it takes to activate or speed of intermittent. Moving it up further is now normal speed. Moving it up one more is high speed.

We put it in the first detent and moved the sensitivity to the highest setting. No change in wiper activity.

Never an issue for my rain sensing on my lowly Select. Yours does not seem to be working correctly then.
