However, I’ve now driven our 4X enough to say that you almost never sense a power pull back even when really ripping on it for extended periods. Backroads, toll roads, whatever - even repeated 20-80 or 30-100 runs don’t result in noticeable power limiting. I think that’s what @Murse-In-Airy is referring to.
That is exactly what I’m referring to. And it’s very much exaggerated When it’s 10°F, like on my drive to work today. GT-PE, slowing down before it even hits 65MPH. 4X, keeps full power all the way to 110 whether it’s 70° or 10° outside.

Not the best conditions and will do more after it warms up.
Temp 49 degrees F, 1 bar showing (the are pretty dim and I'm pretty old so I did not see them when I got the car)
22 GT still starts pulling power at about 80. Measured using my Racebox pro.

I see 49* and think "great conditions, denser air."

This electric stuff's gonna take a minute to wrap my brain around. ?

Yup. Air density bad now. As is cold battery.

In my 13 GT500 in Alaska, those upper 30s mornings were amazing, so long as I had the tires properly warmed. ?
And now anything under 50° and I’m just left feeling like a Gelding in the breeder barn.

I
won't actually get to experience it until October, so gelded might feel normal for me. ?

So, just to clarify, both of the GT models have the 5 second power limiter, and the other models do not?
More specifically, the GT models have a 5 second “boost” and the other models do not.

10 degrees... with (wait a minute, Googles "what is the ground clearance of a Mach E GTPE") 5.4 inches of snow on the ground, since the GTPE only has 5.3 inches of ground clearance.
I does seem high...parked next to my miata. :)

I just measured to be sure, the MME is going to look awfully low next to my Suburban, with it's 15.5 inches of ground clearance. I routinely change the oil without need for a jack!

EDIT: I had to cancel my plans for a roof rack on the Suburban, it would have been too tall to park in my garage.
You're gonna need Quick Jacks for the Mach-E.

Oh, wait?

It took me WAY too long to get that joke! I did lol when I did though.
Just saw your signature, and went to your profile to check out your car... Looks like you are getting close, to delivery?

We've got similar tastes, but I'm about 6 months behind you. Following voyeuristically, but not in a creepy way. ?

Heh, the K/5 doesn’t fit in my garage without removing the roof or deflating the tires. ???
