Okay, so I have my ChargePoint installed, my Sto 'n Sho license plate bracket, and now my faux grille, which just arrived today from StrucknDesign.

My MME? It's on a flatbed rail car in Waverly, NY on its way to MA.

Here's a photo of the vinyl grille, which I shot outside in an attempt to simulate how it looks outdoors. However, keep in mind that it's on a table facing the sky, so it's catching more light than it actually will when installed on a Mach-E.

My evaluation: It's a very dark print, but that's the effect I was shooting for. I think a lighter print would more easily reveal it being faux, but this will not. I think it's going to look great on the car (once I get it, that is!)

since my car is here and I'm getting my PPF done next week. I just went ahead and ordered one. Hopefully the auto detailer can apply it and make it look nice

I can be. Every installer I talked
with stated the graphics will fade before the ppf goes bad. Better to put graphic on top of ppf, that's what I did.

Excellent job, Bob. And thanks for sharing. I have been waiting to find something I really like for my grill. Can’t wait to see how this looks on your car which hopefully you will receive soon.

Or, the vinyl can serve as a defacto PPF, not as protective but better than nothing.
That’s what we’re going to do. PPF everywhere up front but the “grille”.

Since ours just shipped out today we probably won’t get it until next week since USPS from WI to Central TX isn’t exactly fast.

FWIW, I’ve had vinyl printed decals on my car for years and they showed no sign of fading, although I’m in MA, and not AZ or FL…
