This morning, the car main display was at very low brightness, to the point of it being really hard to read. The display behind the steering wheel was fine. Tried shutting down car and restarting, didn't do a thing, any ideas on what might be causing this?

Do you have anything on your dash that might be covering the light sensor?

Your car may be in the middle of installing 1.7.1 OTA.

This is a symptom of the update installing partially and not completing fully yet.

Funny you should mention that because I just started experiencing this same issue a few days ago, and today I got the update notification. The funny thing about it is that it's just a generic update notification with no new version number or details associated with it. So I assume you are correct and it's likely in the middle of updating modules before completing the entire "power up" sync update.
