Do you have a panel above your interior fuse box?

Hi folks,

Do you have a cover panel right above your internal fuse box (on the passenger side inside the cabin, below the glove-box)?

I was browsing the DIY Tutorial on Hardwiring a Dashcam, and I noticed a few pictures (and mentions) of people having to remove a top cover, before they were able to pop off the fuse box cover .

Compare it to mine, notice the exposed parts.

Mine is a 2023 Premium...did ford forget to put a panel inside my car, or did they just drop it from later models?

strange that the part exists but wasn’t installed. maybe they were short and just decided it wasn’t important? what was your build week?

My recollection from a previous thread is that Ford decided it was unnecessary and removed it from builds sometime last year. I think my Feb-22 built MME GT has it, but honestly I don't recall for sure.
