So if my 30% max downpayment was $15,000, The $15K would consist of $12,500 of my money and the $2500 Ford Options cash? Am I reading your comment correctly?

If the $2500 Ford Options cash came off of MSRP, wouldn't that be better since it would decrease the sales tax? (Says the guy in the state with 9.5% sales tax rate.) I have this feeling I might be missing something here...
They will calculate your tax on MSRP plus Delivery amount and only after that start deducting discounts.

Yeah it would be better, but that isn't how the bonus cash works. It's applied towards your down payment, alongside any money or trade-in value that you're personally contributing to the down payment, after cash price (and sales tax) have been already calculated.
Yes, that’s correct.

Thanks Gents. So the formula is:

MSRP (with X-Price adjustment) + D&D + Sales Tax = Full Selling Price.
Minus Incentives/Rebates (let's say that's equal to 8% of the Selling Price)
Minus my cash down (22% to reach the 30% max of the Selling Price)
Equals Amount Financed

OK so my dealer is claiming Ford Option is a lease. I have sent him the link and the online info on the program. Is there a number at ford finance I can have him call to straighten out his claimed 'mis-understanding'. Any assistance appreciated.

It is astonishing to me that the customer has to do the research and teach the dealer these things.

Well first off you're right, Options is not a lease. The dealer needs to talk to their Ford Credit representative.

If you want to send me a PM with your name and the dealership name/city they are in and any specific person you are working with at the dealership with I can have the Ford Credit rep contact the dealer.

Build a Mach-E on Ford's web site using your zip code. While building it, you'll see the finance calculator option. This should let you see the current incentive for your zip code.

Hi all,
Love this forum, it has been so helpful as I look at getting the MME.
So I found a MME select for sale at a dealer near me for $44,395. They ran the numbers and it looked like this, which was off from the online calculator (unless I am dumb....possible)

Ford Option, 48 months
10,500 miles
X Plan, which I don't qualify for and would need to find a sponsor. the guy just told me to go on Facebook and see if anyone knows anyone that will agree.
$2500 incentive for Ohio
$5,000 down
Taxes in my county are 6.75%
Monthly payment: $552

Does that look accurate? Any insight would be great. Thanks!!
Looks a bit high I also from Ohio I got a premium awd std that was @51k after taxes it jump to 54k so I got 3500 off for my old car. I put 10k down and for option 1000rebate and Ford 100 rebate. It came down to 39k and I paying 485 a month for 47 Payment and the 48 payment is the ballon that is 19k. I hope this give u and idea to compare.
