My guess would be passenger side front impacted a free-way embankment, causing tail to swing away from embankment and MME rolled onto driver's side.

When I stayed in Manhattan a few years ago, lived in a tall tower on the 2nd ave, and parked in one of those underground garages. One day I found a child size footprint on my steering wheel. My first though was I wasn't tipping them well. Then I went around the corner to see where they park those cars. I saw a leprechaun size guy parking cars so close to each other that the only way to get in and out was through a window. And that's exactly what he was doing.

The only good news is that this vehicle can protect the occupants....makes me feel good about the safety of the car.

He got the model wrong but seemed to confirm the accident was a high-speed wreck on the highway, and all of the occupants escaped with minor injuries.

I hate to say this, but I’m wondering if the driver was being dumb and assuming “intelligent cruise control” was intelligent and therefore not paying attention?

Has anybody actually seen the actual accident report? The amount of speculation about the crash is interesting to read but the thread seems to be falling into the trap of "If it is said enough times, it becomes believable and then becomes 'must be true.'" For example, it seems to be assumed by some posters that this was a rollover accident. Was it?
