Thanks for that video. As some one who had got pads for a tire change and they still started lifting the car by the battery rail, these are def important. I think I will install these as they stay in place.

I saw a post that ford dealers have to remove these to jack up the car on their lifts for the mach e? Any truth to that? Would these interfere with any automotive place or ford dealers jacks?

I not heard of that but more reason to use blue lock tight and not red.

I used 'slightly modified' Tesla pucks that press in. $20/4.
Dealer left them in when they pulled front wheels to check axles, and left them in when they dropped the battery tray to swap out my HVBJB. So, no problem leaving them in.

In addition to Tesla pucks, I also added these reflective red & white DANGER strips to the battery rail walls, just as a visual insurance.

Be aware you can see the rear puck under the car from pretty much any angle. My wife thought someone else installed them when we wern't looking. I explained what they were for and that I could remove them. She asked why I hadn't. "Cuz. Not done modding..."

I pulled them before dropping at the dealer. The lift they had it on had really big waffle patterns. Not sure if they would have enjoyed laughing at them while working on it.

I'm going to ditch my blue ones and just get some tesla pucks. The anno blue is REALLY obvious. You can't see the front pucks while on the car though.

Can you just use regular hockey pucks for this?

There a Tesla pad that many use but you have to trim them down to fit. I guess you can try a hockey puck too. I never seen it done before so you be the first to test the idea.

Thanks. I hadn't installed mine as I wasn't sure how to keep the backing plate from swiveling while trying to tighten it down. The gorilla double sided tape solves that issue.
