Was that noise coming from the car or was someone running an air compressor nearby? That didn’t sound good!
That is air compressor near by.

You are trying to be "funny" @nvabill . At the end if the day, if and electric car cannot do couple doughnuts without being broken it should not be called a car, icy and slippery condition can happen in normal life conditions, if the car is not capable of some wheel spinning it should not be called a "car". Surely aircrafts are tested for turbulence, boats for larger waves. Any car ev, 4x4 or on 3 wheels should be tested in many weather and road conditions.people here have reported similar issues but just wheel spinning in snow. So dont need to try to be smart about an actual problem thry should sort. Unless you actually mean it?
@xingusx we are both in agreement and I'm not sure why you say I'm trying to be funny. Usually when someone comes in for service they can only describe or at least try to explain to the service department what happens. Your video shows exactly what happened and gives them an idea of the exact conditions.

For that reason I honestly think you need to show the dealer and @Ford Motor Company the video so they can see under exactly what conditions the vehicle malfunctioned. I for one don't want my ordered Mach E to have a problem from a simple wheel spin when it arrives and your problem may help them fix the issue.

So, lighten up a little and go get your broken car fixed, ok!

Exact same issue here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...s-havoc-error-messages-keep-popping-up.13129/

Besides the fact that I can't imagine why anyone would do that (and I bet the owner of the proper loves it), yes, overreving causes issues.
People keep suggesting “overreving.”

Definitely not the issue. Those tires are nowhere near 113 mph and the speed limiter would stop you before you got there anyways.

This isn’t an old school ICE without a limiter where you could overrev in 1st gear doing a burnout or doughnuts.

Something else is going on. And it’s odd that we have multiple reports just this week. I wonder if it has something to do with the most recent UPDATE.

No way that people have had this car for a year and this week is the first time someone did a doughnut.

Hell, there are drifting videos of the GTPE from months ago with no errors.

If it can’t do a doughnut, #notaMustang

He means it is absurd to for you to imply this short video shows anything worthy of invalidating the warranty.
Not sure how you know what he meant and you most definitely are wrong that I was implying anything. If I was I would say it straight up, hope that clears up your obvious confusion.

Confusion for sure.

He isn’t the only one who thought you were making fun of the OP and tattling on him. Especially when you added the hashtag for Ford.

If that wasn’t your intention…… maybe it should have been because it made me LOL when I assumed the same. ?

Sometimes unintentional jokes are the best, especially when the person saying it doesn’t realize what they did. (That’s what she said….).

Too funny and no, I definitely was not tattling on the OP, he was the one that made his deal public with a video. I mean in all seriousness he had already posted a video on a public forum that we all know is followed by Ford. All I did is say he should show it to Ford because honestly it may give them some insight as to what actually caused the fault codes. Like some have said it's no different then getting stuck in the snow and I don't think Ford would have a problem with that.

They monitor, but not that closely (unless you hashtag them).

Would something like this result in a warranty claim being denied? Honestly? Possibly.

Same goes if you break something doing burnouts, or at the track or at the drag strip. I’m sure it’s in the fine print when Ford could deny for anything they consider abuse.

It’s not like you could throw an old ICE transmission into reverse at 30 mph then warranty it or miss a gear at the drag strip (manual) and mechanical over rev then warranty it.

Examples of claims denied over social media videos:

Those mudflaps did an awesome job keeping your car clean! What kind are they?

I don't feel like searching for it right now, but I'm confident there is a section in the owner's manual warning against excessive wheel spin when trying to free a vehicle stuck in mud or snow. Hopefully it's just a matter of clearing some codes that were generated because the car got confused. ?? OP doesn't have to pay for the service visit.

I've gotten stuck in the snow plenty of times, and it has never looked like that.
Yeah, I was trying to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.
