I’m sure this is a dumb question:
If PaaK is working perfectly, am I supposed to be able to walk up to my driver’s side door and open it (assuming the vehicle was previously locked) without actually tiring the unlock button in PaaK? I always have to manually unlock my car.

Yes. Most of the time I don’t even open my phone or I leave it in my pocket. But I’ve had the PaaK update done at the dealership.

Thanks. I had the update done as well. I’m also on PowerUp 1.6 and FordPass 3.28. Oh well ?

Yup, the way mine works. I just walk up and push the button to open the door. Sometimes I have to push it two times, but more often it’s just one time.

Often it’s only once followed by counting too three.

Mine usually works right off if I have GPS, Bluetooth, and wifi on and the app is open and running.

What @hybrid2bev said. Occasionally, I have to wait at the door for a few seconds before it’ll unlock and I’m able to open it, but not often. And once in awhile the door button doesn’t light up, usually if I’ve had the phone in range for an extended time while not using the car (working in the garage, washing it, etc)

Additional datapoint: my passenger door always opens when I come up to the car with my phone. My phone can be in my pocket.
