Thanks for sharing! In my opinion and my wife's opinion, yes. We drove our 22 GT for ~7k miles and have ~2k miles on our 23 GTPE now, and we both feel like it has a smoother ride. Is it night and day different? I would say no, it's still a pretty stiff/sporty suspension (especially in Unbridle) compared to a luxury/touring vehicle type suspension. But it smooths it out just enough that it doesn't feel as jarring as the GT did, so for us it was worth it. And the difference seems to primarily be at freeway speeds. City streets at low speeds feel mostly the same to us. That said, if we were 20 years younger then we probably wouldn't care.
We lost some money trading in the 22, but the tax credit helped to soften that blow so we were ok with it. If our 23 hadn't shown up until January, it would've been a tougher decision that I'd rather not think about.![]()
