Easy way to turn off Auto (Aircon) ?

i should know this after owning the MME for eight months, but i don't!

is there a quick way of turning of aircon's Auto mode? i usually go to the fan button and turn it off but that's not a safe way to do it while driving.

No, there is not. Hit up arror on the right, then click the Off button.

Baffling that OFF isn't available as a fourth option on the Auto climate toggle. Likewise that setting max defrost on and back off results in Auto 1 even if climate was off to begin with. Then there's the matter of recirculation turning itself off at will. Definitely room to improve the climate controls OTA.

Exactly what I would expect too. Hopefully the UI/UX revamp coming this year addresses this.
