I made a cribbing block out of four pieces of 4x8" lumber I had around glued and screwed together. Then I put that near me under a solid frame piece whenever I'm under a car.

Oh yeah I am with you there. Having to lay under a car on Jackstands is never a great feeling. I just look at those pins and wonder where they were made. lol.

Great tips on the Sway bars too!. I was curious how those get installed. I assume both wheels have to be off and the front up in the air. I will attempt to slide it through as well since I'll be doing that sometime next week after the spring install.

So I ordered some of those little rubber cradle looking pads for Jack Stands. (See bottom of post) I also have a set of those hockey puck looking lifting pads for the Mach-e on the way as well. So if I'm correct I can jack the vehicle up with one of those pucks and then slide the jack stand with one of those rubber pads as close as possible to the Puck. The important thing is as long as it's somewhere on that rail and knowing the further away from the front the more it would tend to hold the entire side up which puts a lot more weight on the single jack stand.

I'm still baffled by that reinforced section not being able to support sitting on a jackstand. It appears the Lifting Rail is welded right into it and look how thick that thing is. ;).

That's the lifting rail for the battery that weighs ~1200lbs or so, not the 5000lb car :)

Install update: So far I've got the passenger front springs on and just got the rear spring in. Already had to call Mark!. 😛 That lower knuckle bolt was giving me a fit. I am swapping in the new Eibach bump stops and then putting the rear shock back in and will start on the driver's side. Hopefully, that side will go faster now that I picked up a few tips.

All done. Thanks again to Mark for helping me when I got stuck on the rear springs and for editing this pic. 😎

I took a very short drive and whoa! Definitely the stiffness from the stock springs is way reduced. The ride still has a familiar feel to it but definitely the intensity is dialed back. Can’t wait to get the sway bars on and drive it more.

You have the GTPE wheels, but you list you have a GT in your profile. Can you clarify if you have the GTPE or not? Thanks!

Just FYI if anyone wants to really appreciate the stock ride in the MME. Take a Bronco Sport for a test drive!. The MME feels like a Caddy on air suspension compared to that thing!. IMHO of course. Ford recently put me in one for a day when I had my MME in for a fender gap fix. The springs on that vehicle were wound super tight and you feel every imperfection on the road. Getting back into my MME with the Eibachs was soooo much better!.

Just got the Eibach Sways front and rear installed yesterday but was pretty exhausted and too dirty to take it out for a drive. Alignment gets done on Monday.

Big thanks to Mark again for helping me. Apparently, The Eibach Rear Sway won't work on the Front lol :facepalm:and the rear is very difficult when you don't have the correct orientation!. ;) A one man job didn't help but I got it done!.

At speeds over 10 mph the Eibach's do great to turn road issues into something you notice but are not begging for it to be over as soon as possible. It allows the suspension to move rather than launching the right front tire 2 inches higher (throwing you to the left in your seat) then bouncing back down tossing you side to side, then doing it again with the rear wheel and tossing you side to side. You'd feel this in your ribs/shoulders. Bars help with this, they isolate that tires movement and keep the rest of the car very level.
Hi, it took me forever to find a description like what I’m experiencing. Thank you for this!

Bad news is, I have a GTPE and I experienced this in every drive mode. And the car feels like a bouncy castle if I left it on Whisper mode.

Do you happen to know if it is something that GTPE experienced and if the sway bar would help with it?

Alright. I did it. Just the springs and it dulls the road imperfections significantly but you still feel it. Big bumps also feel much better. We still need to test a few more in our area.

Springs seem to still be settling as I drove through bumps in a parking lot yesterday with no problem. But today in the same lot, after the front tires go over the bumper, the car touch the bump twice on two different kinds of bumps. It actually broke my mud flaps lol.

The bottom looks fine but I am realizing how much closer those battery rails are to the floor. The back is still high enough to not hit anything.

Hey Calvin, glad to hear the install went well. You must have some high speed bumps for them to break your mud flaps or you went over them kind of fast? There are quite a few speed bumps in our shopping center parking lots and haven’t had that issue yet. I don’t think we have the same mud flaps though. I have the AOSK ones.

Yeah i think I went a little fast on one of them. Definitely need to think that I’m back to driving a sedan. The mud flaps are AOSK.

I’m gonna look to see if I can super glue it back together first before committing to buying another set.

I've got a few of those around as well. I avoid them now. Not that I've ever tapped any 'frame' on the car but I can see how the mudflaps are victim.

I am in the testing phase before conclusion, but I did sway bars at the same time. I can tell you, everyone should do the sway bars. Period.

I can vouch for the sway bars for sure. An amazing improvement in handling and left-right stability.

I thought at first "hmm, we will see" as I drove in a straight line when I first got them on. No noticeable difference right off the bat. Then I took a hard left with speed as I entered the on ramp to the highway and felt like the car did not budge and stayed very planted. No lean.

That felt good.
