Is anyone aware of credit cards that offer increased Cashback (or points/miles/whatever) for EV charging?
It is easy to find credit cards that give 2% or 3% back on gas, I haven't found any however that gives a higher return on EV charges.

I know US Bank is planning on launching a card that does that but looking for something available now.
Thank you!

It was great that Costco added EV charging, but we haven't used any since they did. Of course we use very little to begin with, even on trips, as compared to gas, so it's no a big deal either way. Increase from 2 to 4% as compared to other cashback cars, i.e. $2 per $100 spent.

Careful, that Costco card will get you with the fine print. The 4% cashback discount is only available for the first $7k of EV charging for the year. So after that first 150,000 miles (give or take) this year you get completely screwed by corporate greed.

If I spent $7k on EV charging per year I’d drive off the tallest bridge. Watch for that fine print.

Not that I disagree with you, but is your rate 10cts all in? Or is that just the electricity cost and then delivery costs on top?
Both combined for me are almost 16cts, still significantly below the rate of EV charging stations.

But living in a building without access to even a basic outlet, not much of a choice unfortunately.

I think you've got bigger problems if you're spending $7k a year on EV charging

You do know the difference between Level 2 and DCFC I assume?

Yeah that was the reason for my not sure if things are sarcastic. I would hope most people would understand that a public charger is more than electricity costs. Even Level 2 is a large up front cost for a commercial charger and then expected maintenance.

If DCFC, then there is no way they can be serious about that complaint. Most all DCFC installs lose money, nobody has really figured out a good way to have a profitable business model. EA only exists by the grace of billions of VW money they can burn.

This is good to know, since Electrify America seems to be growing alot and their prices are insane (almost double of shell recharge stations). Having a good cashback card might somewhat soften the blow.

EA's price, with Pass+, is 31 cents per kWh in most states, 24 cents per minute in about a dozen states.

Shell Recharge by me is 30 cents per kWh.

Can you provide actual examples to back your claim?
