EV6 does not come with a charger... like, at all:

Ford Mustang Mach-E EV6 does not come with a charger 1643723154934

I haven't watched every review video or anything but I have yet to see anyone mention this. Seems like a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very stupid decision on Kia's part to not even include a 120V mobile charger.

I'm sure there will be no Kia dealers selling $199 chargers for $999 as part of the financed install because "convenience" - I mean, Kia dealers have such a stellar reputation. ?

Thatā€˜s odd - in the UK the EV6 comes with a Type2 cable for public chargers , a 240v Home charger kit, and a V2L socket for powering devices from the car on the go (as well as two keys) ;)

The Kona only came with a level 1, iirc.

Are you sure it comes with the V2L adapter? Reviewers in Canada have said that it's a $300 accessory. Not sure about the US, but I assume it's similar.

That would be pretty shitty. Do you have a link to that screenshot you posted?

You guys need to bring your own cable for public chargers? Or is that just an extension?

A lot (most?) Level 2 chargers in Europe are "untethered", which means you need to supply your own cable.
In UK you need your own cable for most public 7kW AC chargers - itā€™s just a Type 2 socket on a post normally.

Obvs DC fast charging uses tethered cable with CCS2 connector.

Interesting. I feel like people would just go around stealing charging cables if we had that here haha.

The AC chargers have a locking mechanism on the socket (as does the car) - so the cable canā€™t be removed unless you a) have the car key in proximity of the charge port, and b) confirm to the charger that itā€™s you and you want to end the session (normally via an app or RFID card)
