To avoid bugging my dealer even more than necessary, I think the next step for me is on/after the 18th to confirm my #machdrop FE gets entered into the order bank by Ford for my dealer to see, at which point I'll ask him to email me a copy of the order like he did with my original Premium (that's also still on order).

Curious where you got the date of the 18 for the Machdrop FE? I think I have a machdrop FE order. The dealer was communicative at first but it's been quiet for the past week plus. I recall the Ford rep said it might be awhile but don't recall them communicating a specific timeline...

I'm not sure there is anything exciting in here, but my dealer sent me a different file with tons of detail. I was excited to see that I was not getting the Assembly Plant Fuel Fill.
The order said "two way rear head restraints". Kinda was hoping 4 way so they could fold down when not in use.

And what does that say about my 19?!
So I contacted Narh, the Mach E specialist at Koons Ford, to ask about this. Yesterday, he told me 19 was the highest they could click in the system. Today he said "I just double checked and it is now saying priority 10". Not sure how this happened miraculously but glad to see it!

Mine showed that priority 10 from the beginning on the order sheet that he sent to me when I switched from the Premium to the FE. I was glad when @hybrid2bev said that was the highest priority.

Mine is a priority 10 also. But I don't think it matters because my dealer only has 2 Premium orders and the rest are GT reservations. So I was always going to be near the top of the list for that dealer either way.

10 is highest priority 19 is lowest. 1 gauge is thicker than 5 gauge. I hate this new math
It's actually worse than that at the EPA: they report both mpge and kwh/100mi. So 28kwh/100mi is worse than 24kw/100mi, but 141mpge is better than 121 mpge.

I want to stick with my priority code 99. :) it will be the Last First Edition on the planet. Of course it will be a moot point since it wont ever get built.......just sit there at the bottom of the scheduling pile. Like a can of soup at the very back of the pantry that never sees the light of day.

Checked with my dealer about an hour ago. He couldn't find my Machdrop FE in the order bank yet. He's gonna check periodically. Ford stated 9/18 as the day they put Machdrop FEs into the order bank. But I presume they have to manually enter each one, so maybe it'll take all day, or a few days?

Guess we'll see. If nothing by Monday, I'll contact the FE team.

I just received this info from my dealer. I’m not sure if the includes Machdrop or other FEs though. I have a Premium on order. I asked my dealer if he knew but he does not have that info yet.

“I got an update from our local Ford Rep about Mach-E orders. I will paste the quote below so that you can make your own interpretations.

"A rough ETA for Retail Mach-E orders getting pulled for scheduling is mid-late October. For GT Mach-E they have been really vague about it, the last update we got was Spring of next year is when the orders will get converted!"
”

This is good news. Sounds like this is saying the Cuatitlan plant is on schedule or even slightly ahead. If I am correct in my interpretation, it means Mass Production 2 (customer vehicle production) will begin in mid-late October. That's consistent with the original 26 October date for Job 1 made public earlier.

IMHO the machdrop stuff is irrelevant. Where you sit is where you are at. The date of October 26 as the first day of customer production still seems correct. The only relevant questions are
!. Will all of the FE be produced all at once as the first cars and then delivered??
2. Will west coast, california, which has the most MME ordered, get delivered first??
3. Will dealerships with the most MME orders get theirs first??? So if you bought form a small dealer will you have to wait longer???
