Does anyone have experience/expectations of how an EV will handle gravel roads? I have 1.5 miles of gravel to get back to my house and curious if the drive train or batteries will be damaged by the gravel dust.

Thanks,

No damage: I've had all my plugins on dirt/gravel roads many times. They behave no differently than an ICE. (We have frequently taken the Bolt & the C-Max camping...)

Have even driven through some deep floods without a problem.

My coworker drove through some water in his Focus Electric that was so deep the car started to float...no issues (no water leaking in either).

I have got the Focus Electric and the Bolt stuck a few times (low ground clearance you know--this is probably the biggest "danger" if you could call it that). No damage from being stuck that is visible--I'm sure there are some scuffs to the undercarriage but thats about it. In all instances I was able to rock the cars out.

They are cars regardless of powertrain you can treat them (and abuse them) as such.
