I had a tire puncture on Monday coming off the interstate. I didn’t feel or see anything before getting a tire pressure warning of 30 psi in the left rear. Fortunately I made it home after a couple miles with 20 psi.
I have the tools to plug the tire hole, which was in the groove of the tread, but it was a hot day and I said nope, I’m calling the dealer. At 16k miles I wasn’t sure if there would be hazard coverage between the warranty and ESP.
The mobile tech was available and he came and plugged the hole. The cost was only $14.
