Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

Like in Norway for example - have they got pre-orders for 10, 20, 100 or a 1000? wondered if anyone had seen any stats.
I have heard, from a Norwegian sales rep., that the Norwegian number of pre-orderes is about 2000. Order bank is supposed to open shortly after Easter.

Do you believe a sales rep ? If I call my dealer and get different sales people
they all tell me different number of reservations. I have and the numbers vary
from 2 to 20. This is the truth try it.

Actually, I do. I was told that Norwegian Ford-dealers received weekly updates from Ford during the weeks before Europe ran out of its allotment. The Norwegian allotment was extended because other European countries didn't fill up theirs. That is probably the case for Holland as well.

I don't understand how you could run out as 30K are coming. And Ford
is giving "Updates" ? We here in the states updates are as rare as
"hen"s teeth". Will you please share your updates with us ? And until
Ford starts talking we all do not know what to believe.

I get that, but realistically, this whole thing is alomost a year out still. What sort of updates are going to make any real difference to that?

I do not know. But Petter says they get weekly updates. He should share these
on the Forum. If Europe gets them then why doesn't the USA ? Maybe he is incorrect
on this matter. If he has weekly updates he knows more than he is sharing.

Petter in one sentence you say "Europe ran out of it's allotment"
Then you say "European countries didn't fill up theirs"
Which is it ? Did Europe run out ? Or did they suddenly find more ?

Petter can't share what he doesn't get. He said that Norwegian Ford-dealers get weekly updates, not himself. I'm sure Petter is acting in good faith here.

Production will much more likely be 1K A DAY when they get started.
That may be a some point in the future, but 1,000\day means they'll produce all the Mach Es in 6 weeks then shut down production until next fall. They've already said the first year production is limited by battery availability. 1,000 a week makes a lot of sense and I think is very close to the future 1st year production rate.

I am based it on Ford saying they can produce 50k in the first year. So 52 weeks...thats about 1k a week. If it was 1k/Day, within 2.5 months they would be done.

Let me try and make myself clearer: Norway was originally given an allotment, as were other European countries. But when it turned out that Norway placed far more pre-orders than some other European countries did, Norway was given parts of the allotments of these other, less eager, European countries. This is, at least, what I have been led to understand. Thus it was possible to pre-order the First Edition in Norway until the start of February this year. I would think that the same was the case with The Netherlands.

My point it that Ford has said that the First Editon will be delivered in Q4 2020. So they will have to - and will be able to - produce and deliver in 2020 the number of FEs that moves from per-order to actual order. How many this will be, I do not know. Looking forward to the PCTC-ship - which can carry as many as 8500 units at a time, reaches the Norwegian shores, reportedly in October this year:)
