Experiences with Oracle Ford in Arizona

I ordered a Mustang Mach-e Select from the Oracle, AZ Ford dealership at the beginning of February and am waiting for a build date. Has anyone else on the forum ordered through this dealership? Did everything go as expected? did you have any issues?

I ordered March 22 2022. No info as of yet. No build date, only order accepted by dealer status. I'd be interested to hear if you have a build date yet.

I was sitting in order accepted status, called the dealership and found out I had a VIN and also a tentative build week. Have you checked directly with the dealer? The email notification system doesn't seem to work very well.

That’s good to know. I checked in about 3-4 weeks ago and there was nothing. I’ve been checking the Ford website daily almost. I think I’m a few weeks behind you so I may be still in a waiting mode. What is your build week if you don’t mind sharing?

June 27, but I'm going to call Ford Service and/or Oracle Ford to verify.

Mine is scheduled for next week and that date has held since the Ford email notification. I'll post when I see a notification of the build start.
My original posted order date was incorrect. It's actually March 2, 2022.

Ford now shows my vehicle in production and shows the window sticker, so they started a week earlier than the week they included in their email. Nice surprise!

So a no frills Select, ordered 3/02/2022, got a build week of 6/27/2022. A little less than 16 weeks, order to build start.

Cool! Good to hear some progress. I called into the Ford customer number last week and they didn't have anything for me yet. I also asked the salesperson the week before and nothing. Keep posting on your progress if you can! I also ordered a Select with RWD, but I did go for the tech package.

Well…I checked my order status and suddenly a $3,000 mark up is now showing on my order. Still not in production and no change in status otherwise. I have an order form showing x-plan pricing, so not sure what is going on.

A markup makes no sense. Ford rescinded the markups it was planning for the 2022 model year when it stopped taking new 2022 orders. You have a signed order from the dealer with the original price, right? At this point I also have a window sticker with the original Total MSRP including shipping, $44995.

It’s a markup. We agreed to x-plan pricing but it wouldn’t reflect here as it’s a specific discount off msrp. I just saw this today so I haven’t contacted the dealer yet but concerns me that the games are starting.
