Hey all

First time posting. We have a '22 Select AWD and the first 1000kms was great.

The day after we brought the car home the camera system....all cameras...stopped working. Dealership said the module was faulty and ordered a replacement. Fine.

So it comes a few weeks later and we drop it off for the swap. Now it gets worrisome, as the new module isn't accepting the programming. So the story each day is "waiting on ford engineering to come up with a fix."

Barrie Ford offered a rental on the second day, and we took that. An older Jeep... So that was almost two weeks ago now.

Appreciate the rental but this is a brand new car costing almost a grand a month while it sits idle. Trying to keep a level head and figure out my next steps.

Anyone else deal with stuff like this? I know there aren't Lemon Laws in Canada...

Cheers

WOW - Thanks for sharing, so sorry to hear that you are going through that hassle. You could try calling Ford Finance to deferred the payments as well, until you get back the car. It is discouraging to hear as legacy dealers are not prepared to deal with this type of issues, I was talking with my Ford dealership at Yong/Steeles, and they are sharing an EV specialist with another Ford Dealer.
So far we have been lucky with our Mach-e, just shy of one month in with 3000 kms, my wife absolutely love the car, we dont drive the second car anymore, which use to be our primary car.
Hope things get resolve sooner rather than later, so you can go back to enjoying your Mach E
