F150 Lightning Assembly Line Video, pretty neat to see the motor assembly and production line

Very encouraging stuff in that video. I see some new motor winding technology and like the extra insulation on the lead side of the stator. The IDM case insulation is a nice improvement. Am a little surprised to see the robotic cart to move the body around because it doesn't seem as quick as a track but I'll reserve judgement for later. Pretty sure Ford is confident it's the way to go forward.

This is very interesting it looks very much like the components that have been shown in Machi tea or downs wonder if they're using a lot of the same components more than likely the motor is the same as the mach E .

It was an email from the dealer I reserved it at. Nothing official has come from Ford yet, so you're not left out... yet lol

At 4:05 thru about 4:10 there is what almost looks like an oil filter on the end of the motor going across. Any idea what that is? Or is it an oil filter that theoretically lasts way longer than on an ICE vehicle?

Count me in - I can't wait (even though I know I have to for a long time). Hope ford can keep pumping those production numbers. I know 2022 is out of the question (I didn't reserve until June 3), but I would love a 20203 model!

Gearbox oil filter. Tesla has them too.

I reserved mine in the first hour or two after reservations opened. I hope the range is usable while towing; I love my Tacoma but would be thrilled to be done with ICE.
