The installation was really fast. I stopped by a mall for not even an hour, with no indication of 2.8.2 being queued. When I went back into the car, I noticed the notification and thought cool I'll go home and press install. Then I noticed the check mark and realized that it was already installed. I left it on auto install from 2.8.1.

My 2.8.3 finished, dunno if that even does anything noticeable other than the sync version increasing a bit.

2.8.2 installs really fast. I saw it was queued in the widget, so I started the car and let it run for maybe 5 minutes total. I kept pushing the Update button, but nothing happened. I'm not going anywhere today anyway, so I just turned it off and came back inside. I opened the widget to see if I could see what was going on, and it says it has installed.

I am getting frustrated with this one! I think the car fell asleep before it could load or maybe the signal strength is too low in my garage? The Widget status has finally gone from queued to deploying.

I have only one suggestion. Several of these power-ups—I cannot remember which—erase the wifi credentials, leaving the car in cellular only. To keep up the update pace, it is worth checking.

2.8.2 installed and I used BlueCruise on my commute! It’s a bit unnerving using it completely hands free but it handled the traffic and slightly curvy roads really well. I am very impressed and very happy to finally have it operational! I will have to plan a road trip now to really test it out

Not certain; I think some people report not seeing it even afterward until a few on/off cycles happen. I neglected to check mine after 2.8.3 yesterday but didn't have it after 2.8.2.

Got 2.8.3 yesterday, still no hands-free option. I wonder if they are just taking it out as a toggle for now just how lane centering with adaptive cruise is going to work with an active subscription.

Used it several times on the freeway with no issues. Does have a slight ping pong after corners but once it centers it is unnoticeable.
