I have joined this 2.6.0 failed update club now. I got myself unstuck from 1.7.1 by doing updates myself using FDRS. Then 2.1.0 came and installed itself with auto-update on. Now 2.6.0 had been queued for 3 days but has failed twice. I can only setup auto-update for one day at a time so keep on charging it everyday but not always does it confirm the change. Sometimes the confirmation message shows and other times nothing happens. The update failure reason is the same as some other OTA_E1016. Any suggestions?
Change it to manual update, toggle off auto updates. That way you can make sure you’re in good cell coverage area to accept the update. Take it for a 10 minute drive after you hit accept. Hopefully that helps

Got a chance to actually go BlueCruisin’ tonight on US-19 towards Clearwater. Pretty cool, it did great! I didn’t experience any of that ping ponging or hugging the right.

I am generally in good cell coverage. I turned off the auto-updates. And have driven it. But the update hasn’t tried again since it failed the last time 2 days ago. I thought it will retry every day as the expiration date is within a few days of when it first became available. When you say “accept”, do you mean once it shows the download available and I accept that? Thanks!

So I got try out BC for a much longer trip today and it works fantastic. I do not see any of the issues people are having. Wondering if I got a different package? It doesn’t even really nag me when I look away, I’ve only been able to get it to tell me to Watch the Road is when I place my hand in front of it.

It stays nicely in the center of the lane and takes small curves like a boss. So really wondering what the difference is people are seeing.

Give it time lol...

Many curves are okay. It's the smaller radius ones that seem to be a turn off. Also, lane striping is critical. It may turn off during some lane mergers, for instance, depending on how the stripes are painted. At this point I can predict with roughly 75% accuracy when it's going to remain engaged or temporarily disengage. And it seems to work better at night for me, probably due to how well it can discern road features in different lighting.

Much of the time I don't observe any real issues. But some days it's very obviously hugging the right side of the lane and will even cross the lane stripes (and then throw up its hands out with a red alert). And yes, sometimes it meanders back and forth which is just a tad nauseating... but not bad like the lane hugging.

This is most people's experience. Only people that experience issues typically post.

What roads have you tried it on? It will probably be another week before I am able to try it out for the first time. Looking forward to that plus trying out hotel L2 charging. My goal is to do a short road trip without any DC charging.

So, US-19 heading towards and away from Clearwater. 275 in Tampa, I-4, the Selmon Expressway going to Brandon. Has worked great on all.

Sounds good, hopefully this will not freak my Wife out too much! Lol
My wife was a tiny freaked out until she saw it take one of those weird diagonal Zig zag turns on 275, which was wild. Then she was like, “oh that was cool”

So 2.6.0 failed to install on June 11, the update expired on June 16 and since then - nothing. Didi even retry the update. This is getting really annoying.

Exactly the same here, failed on the 15th June, deployment expired on the 22nd, no attempt since then. But we're both outside the US so Ford don't really care. Mine is at the dealer on Friday for some other issues so I'm going to ask them to do all the available updates.
