It’s with a Hyundai dealer owned by the same as my Ford dealer, but waiting to hear if they will consider no ADM. Of course Ild have to like it more than the Mach-E to actually pull the trigger. At least it will be a 2022…

and you think you'll get an ioniq 5 sooner than a mach-e?

I'm going to find out...the sales rep is going to speak to his GM. They have one that isn't spoken for arriving on 1/7.

The Ioniq 5 looks like a great car, and can be had with several features that aren’t available in the MME. If you can get one, it’s definitely worth considering.

We'll see if they will back off from their ADM—the sales rep said his GM would likely reach out to my Ford dealer's GM, since they're both owned by the same parent company.

It's worth a shot, and if my Mach-E somehow manages to arrive during the 1/3-1/9 ETA, I'll likely stick with it despite it being a 'year old,' as it is the exact color, interior, drivetrain I ordered. The Ionic will be a color compromise, both inside and out. But with the faster charging, ability to provide 120V power, and 2 years of free EA charging, the compromises would be worth it. The price is also a bit lower.

We drove an Ioniq 5 and it was a very rough ride.

That would be a deal-breaker for me...the Mach-E rode so much nicer than the Model Y, which was also rough.

Compared to the MME? That’s the opposite of what almost all of the reviewers have reported, but I haven’t driven one so I can’t say.
Yes, compared to the MME. We ruled out the car due to the rough ride.

On paper it's a solid alternative. I think that Kia has played it closer to the chest than Ford - shoot thy just released US pricing three weeks ago. Let us know how it goes.

Looks like a dealership near me is getting in about 6 Ioniq 5 SEL AWD and a couple base models. I'm personally happy with my MME but the Ioniq 5 was in the running originally before it got delayed.

If anyone is interested though, they're in transit to Beaverton Hyundai in Oregon. I would likely expect ADM since they're the only dealer around with stock coming in.

I've seen some reviews from ForrestsAutoReviews and he did a 1,400 mile California to Texas road trip in the Ioniq 5 in mild to warm temperatures and only got 208 miles to a charge and lower with climate usage. Getting 2.6 miles per kWh..

In good temperatures in my MME, I get 3.5-4 miles per kWh WITH A/C running constantly. That's a dealbreaker on the Ioniq right there. At least Ford gave accurate if not underestimated good temperature ranges while Hyundai is supposed to get 256 miles a charge and off the bat underperformed

I'm curious, you are willing to compromise on color to get the ioniq sooner, would you be willing to do the same or make other compromises to get a 22 Mach-E?
