Four months and 1,500 miles in to my new Mach E and I had a fender bender. The worst part is it was my fault and involved me hitting my wife’s vehicle.
The wife’s vehicle sustained a dent and I may be able to pop it out and make it look like new for a few minutes of work.
My Mach E tho. I originally thought there was a hairline crack where the fender met the headlight, But upon further review today the fender pushed up under the head light. I’m hoping it can be maneuvered back into place but I’m not sure if the pressure has displaced anything else. There aren’t even any scratches or dents on my car but the spacing between the gaps between the hood and the front corner panel are a bit larger on the side that has impact so I’m preparing for the worst. Hoping this will be a $1,000 job and I can go on with my day but I don’t think it’s ever that easy.
wondering if anyone else has had a bumper repair in their MachE and what the costs were. Taking it in tomorrow for an assessment.
