I also didn't like that there isn't a 120v AC outlet anywhere.
Wait, WHAT? $58,300 and it doesn't have an AC outlet?? Fords half the price have them!

I can't believe I didn't know that until today. I just assumed it had to have one. After all the hype they put out on the 2021 F-150 having outlets everywhere you look including in the bed, they don't give their other new "electrified" car even one???

Ugh, this is so frustrating to be unable to charge laptops on the road.

All you need is a 12V cord for your laptop. You may even have enough to run the laptop straight off the USB-C.

The Tech Spec sheet and Packaging Guide listed the outlets as USB-B and C in front and rear seats and 12v front and cargo area.

That would be true of a 120v outlet as well.
Well yes. I should have been more specific. A 120V outlet on board could have provided significantly higher current output than a 12V power port. A typical 12V power port can not deliver the power necessary for a "working in the car" session on a laptop.

Odd that you say that. I've run my laptop off 12v or using an inverter for hours on road trips with no issue.

My laptop has a 250W adapter (the adapter is the size of an iPad mini almost) and generally refuses to hold a charge on anything less. Those 12V power ports can't supply that, generally.

Only limited to the fuse that the 12V power port is on.
It really is pretty stupid especially because I’m sure that these revamped additions coming in three years will have them.

on the bright side, USBC is basically the new universal high amperage charger at this point. What would be really interesting to understand is the wattage output of those ports.

You may be able to purchase a direct 12v to your laptop that will work better. That's what I have for my MacBook Pro. No need to invert and re-invert. It runs the laptop just fine and even charges slowly.

The rear windows go almost all the way down, but not all the way.

It has become pretty common for new cars to not come with a spare tire. It reduces cost, space, and weight. My Outlander PHEV doesn't have one and neither does my wife's Pacifica. A jack is usually included though.
When you sat in it, did it feel like you were settling into a sedan, or did you feel like you were up a little higher....scale 1-10...1 being a corvette....10 being an Explorer.

Maybe I just need a laptop that weighs less than 10lb and doesn't need a tablet-sized charger in the first place :p
