And when I went to the dealer when they had a car there to sit in and explore, they had a Ford rep. I asked about the hitch and they said, yeah, it'll fully be an after market option and he didn't make it seem at like there would be any issues from a warranty standpoint, etc.Options is not a lease. You own the car, so you can do what you want with it. It’s possible they could consider it “damage” and charge you for it if you turn it in, but I doubt it.
They said you can purchase it online and have your local specialist install it or do it yourself. They said it was very easy to do.Please ask how it works, if I want it installed by my local dealer. Should I purchase it online, have it sent to me, and I take it to the dealer, or does the dealer have to order it for me?
They did not think the stealth will work well with how the back end of the Mach-E is designed. The large hole required for the stealth would be visible. They are not planning to offer the stealth version for the Mach-E.Please ask them if they will have the Stealth version for the MME. Thanks!
The “hidden” option is the best fit for the Mach-E and they only plan to offer that one for now.I think I saw somewhere (Facebook ad?) that they would have three versions. I would just like to see what it looks like once you put it on, how hard the install is, and like some others, I just want to put my bike hitch rack on it.
it is going to require pulling off the bumper cover, diffuser, and cutting access hole(s) in one or both..... not going to be super easy. I'd guess a couple hours labor, which means a couple hundred bucks labor most likely. They said you can purchase it online and have your local specialist install it or do it yourself.
